Library Ministry

The library is open:

Sunday mornings from 8:45 – 10:15 AM

Sunday evenings from 5:45-6:00 PM

Wednesday evening from 6:15-6:30 PM   

*  The library has an “open door” policy. The door is never closed. You are welcome to check-out media at any time. 

Library Policies

Our Mission


The church library exists for our church family, community and those we reach through our ministries to:

Exalt the work of the churches’ ministries in corporation with the church planning team and church staff.

Equip the user with the highest quality Christian media.

Train and teach our people to effectively utilize the libraries resources to evangelize the church and community for Christ.

We uphold these objectives to meet the needs of the user in obedience to the Great Commission found in Matthew 28: 19-20.

Selection Policy


All items added to the library collection should be:

Accurate in facts, scriptural interpretation and Southern Baptist doctrine.

Constructive in influence and morally sound.

Reflect Christian standards of conduct, free of racial and religious prejudice, political bias, social injustice, and other evidences of unchristian attitude and actions.


Anyone who is a church member or member of a church organization such as Sunday School may borrow library materials.

Parents are asked to sign their children’s cards.

Length of Loan:

Books may be checked out for two weeks.

Books may be renewed for an additional two weeks if there is not a special need for the material.

CD and DVD tapes may be checked out for one week.

A limit of two books per person. A limit of audio or videotape may be checked out at one time. 


Gifts to the Library


Books and other media should be gently used.

Free of mold, mildew, odors or insect damage.

Original condition with no markings or underlining.

No provisional gifts.

Monetary gifts and memorials are appreciated for new items.
