A Word About Our Children

Our church firmly believes that children’s ministry is family ministry, and family ministry is children’s ministry.

Our desire is to impact the lives of children with the Word of God. Our hope through our children’s ministry is to engage the entire family into the life of the church. Our passion is to reach the family because we believe if you reach the parents then the entire family has a greater chance to follow Christ as Lord and Savior.

Come join us and be a part of the exciting things God is doing.

  • Mission Friends

Mission Friends provides the building blocks of faith and a basic awareness of God's love for all people.

Mission Friends allows children learn about different missionaries, their family life, and where they live. A primary focus at this age is an awareness of other cultures and places because Jesus loves all people, even different cultures. They learn to share stories of Jesus at home and with friends.

  • Girls in Action (GA's)

This mission discipleship organization is for girls in the first through sixth grade, with the focus being on learning what a missionary is, the difference between home and foreign missionaries, and what a missionary does. To apply their learning, the girls become involved in mission activities in the home and in our surrounding communities.

We join the adults from time to time when we have special missionary speakers. The young ladies also take part in local mission projects.

  • Royal Ambassadors (RA's)

Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) are representatives of Christ the King bringing good news of salvation to people everywhere.

Royal Ambassadors (RA) is a missions discipleship organization for boys in grades 1–6. Through hands-on activities that encourage spiritual growth, games and sports, and mentoring relationships with RA leaders, RA members become a faith-based brotherhood.

RA’s is a mission’s education organization for first through sixth grade boys. Our emphasis is to teach these young men how to be Christ-like and how to carry the message of Christ around the world. We do this through stories, videos, scripture memory, Bible study and activities during class times. Each week in the RA program, we learn about different missionaries and how God uses them to spread His Word to all corners of the globe. The emphasis is not just on what others are doing but how we can be “On Mission” as well. RAs learn about the saving power of Jesus Christ and that everyone needs to accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

We join the adults from time to time when we have special missionary speakers. The young men also take part in local mission projects.
